Somewhere beyond right and wrong, there is a garden. I will meet you there.

Psychotherapy

Every person comes once or several times in their life to points at which they no longer know how to go on. Different abilities, life circumstances and learning stories lead to individual problems or even crises. The way of dealing with them and the way out of them is equally unique.

My main areas

  • adjustment disorders
  • anxiety disorders
  • burn-out
  • depression
  • dissociative disorders
  • emotional crises
  • emotionally unstable personality disorders
  • other personality disorders
  • (complex) post-traumatic stress disorder and other trauma-related disorders
  • eating disorders

My methods

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is characterised by its transparency. In your individual psychotherapy this means, for example, that we discuss your goals and the methods of achieving them together and regularly check on their effectiveness.

In the course of my training and work as a therapist, I have specialised in the procedures of the so-called "third wave of behavioural therapy". What these methods have in common is that they integrate principles that go beyond those of classical behavioural therapy. For example, mindfulness, acceptance, compassion, the consideration of one's own unfavourable relationship patterns and emotion-focused methods play an important role here.

Personally, my therapeutic style is certainly characterized by lively authenticity and my own meditation practice. Since the therapeutic relationship is an important factor of psychotherapy, you should always get your own impression and after the first conversations with a psychotherapist listen to your gut feeling to see if you can imagine a common path.

Supervision

I offer DBT supervision, e.g. as part of DBT certification, in individual and group settings as well as for wards and facilities.

I am also a supervisor and teaching therapist at various training institutes for cognitive behavioral therapy.

If you are interested, please contact me by email.

Workshops

I have been a DBT trainer since 2018 and offer DBT workshops at various clinics and in cooperation with AWP Berlin. To register simply click here.

I also offer seminars on borderline personality disorder, DBT, dissociation, emotion work in behavioral therapy and mindfulness in behavioral therapy at various training institutes (e.g. IPAM Marburg, training institute of the Schön-Klinik Roseneck) and at interested institutions.

About me

Authentic encounter creates a space in which the acceptance of suchness becomes possible. With the resulting power, new ways of acting, feeling and thinking can be discovered and tried out. In this process I accompany you gladly.

The costs for psychotherapy are based on the scale of fees for psychotherapists (GOP) and range for a session of 50 minutes from 100.55€ to 153€ depending on the time, diagnosis and the form of treatment. In addition, there are usually costs for diagnostics and reporting.

Self-payer

There can be many reasons why one does not want to pay a psychotherapy via insurance. As a self-payer formalities do not play a role for you.

Private health insurace and subsidies

The assumption of costs for psychotherapy varies greatly depending on the private health insurance. Therefore, I recommend that you clarify the conditions of cost coverage directly with your insurance company before beginning psychotherapy. If there is no indication in the sense of a need for treatment according to ICD-10/DSM-V (International Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems), your concern can also be dealt with in the context of counseling or coaching.

Statutory insured

Statutorily insured persons can be treated in my practice after examination of the cost reimbursement procedure. Please get information about the "Kostenerstattungsverfahren" from your insurance and here
